Kate combineert in haar pedigree de succesvolle Grand Prix-springhengsten Plot Blue en Unaniem met een sterke moederlijn, prestatiefamilie 1850 . Moeder Eclair scoorde achten voor galop en vermogen in de IBOP en is een halfzus van meerdere 1.30m-springpaarden. Grootmoeder Ronnette is een halfzus van het internationale 1.45m-paard Annette (v.Nassau) van Vincent Geerink en de 1.35m-springende NRPS-gekeurde Climax (v.Concorde). Grand dam Ronnette is a half sister of the international 1.45m-horse Annette (Nassau) of Vincent Geerink and the 1.35m-jumper and NRPS-approved Climax (Concorde).
